A reminder that being misunderstood does not mean you are alone.

The Mentally Misunderstood Tee was created from a shared understanding between two people who have experienced what it feels like to carry things others may not always see.

Throughout life, many of us have moments where we feel misunderstood. People may see our actions but not our intentions. They may see our achievements but not the struggles behind them. They may see our silence but never ask what we are carrying.

Sometimes the hardest battles are the ones that happen internally.

This design represents the reality that everyone has a story beyond what is visible. The emotions we process, the challenges we overcome, and the personal battles we fight are often things the world never gets to see.

Mentally Misunderstood is not about seeking approval or needing everyone to understand your journey. It is about recognizing that your experiences are valid, even when others cannot fully see them.

This design was created alongside one of my closest friends, MATO, someone who has been incredibly influential throughout my college journey and beyond. Getting the opportunity to spend the holidays with her family in Scotland was an unforgettable experience that reminded me of the power of connection, authenticity, and surrounding yourself with people who encourage you to keep pursuing your purpose.

That experience inspired me to continue showing up for Halle’s Eternal Grind and remain consistent with building a brand centered around mental health, resilience, and meaningful conversations.

MATO has always encouraged me to embrace who I am, stay authentic, and continue pursuing the things that matter to me. Her support, positivity, and belief in this mission helped inspire this design and the message behind it.

This shirt is for anyone who has ever felt unseen.
For anyone who has been judged without their story being known.
For anyone who has struggled silently while still showing up every day.
