The Respect Mental Health (The Original) Unisex Hoodie carries the story of where Halle’s Eternal Grind began—a message created during one of the most difficult seasons of my life and transformed into a reminder of hope, resilience, and purpose.

As a Division I women’s basketball player who had just transferred to a new university, I entered a chapter where I felt lost, isolated, and misunderstood. While I continued to compete on the court, I was privately navigating depression, anxiety, grief, and the challenges of finding my identity beyond basketball.

During that season, I realized I needed something bigger than the game. I needed a purpose that could ground me, encourage me, and remind me that I was more than my performance. That purpose became creating a mental health brand dedicated to reminding people that their stories matter.

That is how Halle’s Eternal Grind was born.

The Respect Mental Health design became the foundation of this mission. It represents the belief that behind every athlete, every accomplishment, and every smile is a person with emotions, struggles, and a story worth hearing.

This hoodie carries that same message differently. There is something special about a hoodie—it can feel like comfort when you need it most. It can feel like a warm embrace on difficult days, a sense of security during uncertain moments, or a reminder that you can slow down and take care of yourself.

Sometimes comfort looks like a conversation.

The colors behind this original design hold special meaning. Orange has always been my favorite color, representing energy, brightness, and radiance. During one of the darkest chapters of my life, I wanted to create something that reflected the light I was searching for. The orange, white, and black colorway represents the journey through struggle, healing, and hope.

I’ve never considered myself the most artistic person, but I believe some of the most beautiful creations come from the experiences that shape us. This hoodie exists because of the battles I endured, the lessons I learned, and the belief that difficult seasons can become the beginning of something meaningful.
